... I think I am going to!

Today I had the chance to clean, polish and apply Lemon Oil to the neck, which is my usual routine with a "new" purchase as appropriate. I find it is the best way to inspect the guitar and find any scuff or dings- and I do believe that Lemon oil on a Rosewood fretboard is a good thing.

I must admit I was a little surprised at how grimy the PRS was: my pal is usually pretty meticulous with his gear. I think this guitar has been neglected a little recently in favour of his other PRS- hence his decision to sell I suppose.

Anyway, it isn't perfect, but it is (now) a nice clean example of a gigged but cared for guitar.

I hoped for kinda Les Paul sounds and they are in there- along with a lot more versatility. I think this is a keeper!

I picked a McCarty up last week off of craigslist. I bought it for an investment. But I'm having a hardtime putting it down. I beleive its a 2000

Congrats on the McCarty's!!
I had one with a rosewood neck and WCR Godwood pickups that was wonderful. I still kick myself for selling that one!

Thanks. I went to a national chain the day before to buy a Les Paul. I couldn't find a color that I liked. Besides they were out of tune, BAD! And I felt like I needed tetanus shot from the rusty strings. I'm glad I called the guy from craigslist. The PRS is a much better guitar and better priced.
