I've been lurking and learning for a while now! I've learned so much from all the great folks here, and decided it was time to step in from the shadows. I've got to scamper off to work now, but I'll be back and post some pic of my teles for your enjoyment...

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome! Been playing until my hands are sore. I just learned to solder a couple weeks ago, to do some pick up swapping in the great tone chase. I considered the name of 'Toneslut' but thought better of it...

The Nashville Brat is my #1. Since this pic, I swapped the middle Tex-Mex out for a Lace Gold I scored off Craigslist for $15. That's a Seymour Duncan/Seth Lover SH-55 PAF humbuggy in the neck, off CL too. Truth is the guitar was a CL score as well. Still have the Tex-Mex bridge p'up. The other two pups really reveal its compressed tone. The search goes on. . . .

The other is my Light Ash, it is still stock. Bought it new from GC back during the special run. Considering this pup for the neck http://www.buyanalogman.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=AM-BIGTPickup I'm a huge fan of Analog Mike's work, and have a few of his pedals, but since scoring the Nashville Brat and a Vox Nighttrain 15, I hardly use them anymore.

Heh heh... Guess I set myself up for it by choosing the name, but thank you anyway. Never any offense taken, life's too short and I never take myself that seriously

The Muse made me do it! And my infatuation with the bridge pickup... oooo shiny stuff - swats

Thanks oramac! There are a few more. It's a fun chore to play the dust of off all of them... no guitar left behind!

Sweet Squire man! Love that finish. Did you upgrade the bridge assbly? My MIM sunburst Squire is one of the most playable! I popped the Tex-Mex neck pup that was displaced by the PAF in it. It'll prolly get the bridge pup when i eventually find the right one for the Nashville.

And YES that pup *really* makes a difference! The inbetweens sound so open and round. Adding the lace to the middle made a huge difference in #4. Now I am jonesing to put a set on my Epiphone 175!

If it weren't for all the great info here, i would not have been able to make all the upgrades I've been exploring - THANKS EVERYONE!
