How Loud do you run your service?

Talking about numbers here - in dB.

I'm very interested in learning this as well.

90-100 in the service I play for

We are trying to move our morning service louder, right now it's around 85dB. Our new worship leader is on board, but there's only so much he can change at once.

Not sure how precise it is but I downloaded an app for my tablet that measures sound level. Not sure why I didn't think of it until I saw this thread. We ran around 93 DB most of the time.

For our youth services it is generally just over 100. I haven't measured the volume level in any other services...

The loudest we ever get when I've measured it, is around 95 dB(A). During quieter songs, it is well below 90 dB(A). However, when I've changed the weighting filter in the meter to 'C', the loudest parts read about 10 dB higher than the A-weighted readings. Make of that what you will. So it would've been nice to include that in the poll. But I voted 95-100 dB.
