They're only twenty bucks. KokoTele July 19th, 2012, 10:18 PM There isn't a DIY thing that's going to work any better than the file glen posted for you. The only problem with that is accurate printing. Most inkjet printers can't be counted on to print precise dimensions accurately. They compensate for their motion in all sorts of funny ways sometimes. You'll need a good laser printer to get an accurate print. Or, like Kevin said, you can drop $20 on StewMac's ruler. It's less than you'd spend ona good burger and a beer. braderrick July 19th, 2012, 11:18 PM I just bought one from Stewmac but I'm pretty sure steve "buckocaster" made one himself... Colt W. Knight July 19th, 2012, 11:20 PM Just buy the StewMac one. They're only twenty bucks. This. It is a fantastic tool http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f161/sunshineindy/nike-swoosh.gif Tommyboy July 20th, 2012, 10:29 AM If I understand you correctly, you want someone to scan the StewMac string spacing ruler so you can print the scan, cut out the paper ruler and use it to mark the string slots on the nut you are cutting for your guitar or bass. Okay, I'll play along. Here is a photo scan of the one I own. You will need to print the photo on a full-size sheet of paper because the ruler is 12" long. Good luck! I hope it works for you. bass4god2 July 20th, 2012, 10:57 AM thanks for all the help every one |
