Just read about this Strat pickup designed to bring Tele qualities to your Strat bridge position. Sounds really cool. Anybody uses it ?

Stumbled upon this excellent sounding video featuring the pickup recently
The SD website lists the resonant peak at 5.6 KHz, for comparisons sake the Alnico ii pro staggered has a resonant peak of 9 KHz. Seems like a big difference, but not sure what it really equates to..
For the cheapskates out there I noticed GFS had a similar looking product http://www.guitarfetish.com/GFS-Brassbottom-Single-Strat-pickup-Big-FAT-Tone-Hot-Vintage-7K_p_4459.html
Brass and not steel means they differ in their magnetic interactions with the pickup, but the brass should still boost the low end a bit. The GFS are not staggered. The GFS has alnico V while the Duncan uses alnico II
I am referring to the 2nd post in this thread http://www.tdpri.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-49607.html
I enjoy the CS '54 bridge pickup in my strat and it is good for old country sounds. It is a little bit on the thin side, however. I am tempted to try out a Fralin steel baseplate for it.

Yeah, I've been very interested in these, too.
Harmonic Design also makes a similar drop-in unit, the STP: http://www.harmonicdesign.net/allpages/strats.html
p.s. I wish they had showed in the videos how they sound together with the middle p'up,

Never had any experience with the SD pup. I did look into the Rio Grande version a while ago. Not sure if it is available still or not.
