Anyone know what guitar Buddy Miller plays here? Kay?

I can't get a great look at that on my iPhone. Buddy plays about everything imaginable. He could make a broom sound good.

I believe he usually uses a Wandre - Italian guitar from the 60's.

It looks like a Harmony to me. Buddy usually plays Wandre guitars and has four of them. They were made in Italy in the 60's. Very rare axes.

Buddy was living and playing out west and passed a pawnshop that had them for $75 each. He was tight on money, but managed to buy all four over a period of time.

Wandre Pioli was an Italian conceptual artist and Bohemian who created some of the weirdest guitars known to man. Google them and you'll see what I mean. Buddy's guitars are probably the most "normal" design he made. They're frightfully expensive to collect these days and rarely show up over here.

I usually see him play his Wandre ( or sometimes Gretsch or Jerry Jones Baritone ), but I find his sound on this tune especially good.

Anyone tried some old Harmony guitars? How much do they go for these days?

Nice tune. I never could stand Robert Plant's voice with Led Zeppelin. I am so glad his balls finally dropped.

I was lucky enough to see Buddy play in a small underground church gig in Bristol. Took some pics of his set up and everything, but he seems to play and sound better every time I hear him.

Yeah, one of my fav albums these days. He just seem to play all the right notes at the right time :) Hope to catch him live one day!
