My favorite rider Juan Mauricio Soler announces, on the recommendation of his neurologist, his retirement. His recovery, after the severe accident at theTour de Suisse, is not sufficient enough to go back to pro cycling.

I wish him all the best.

Sad to hear this, as I too always enjoyed watching him ride.
At the same time I'm relieved he's made as good a recovery as he has from such a horrific injury. The very best of luck to him in his future life.

Thats a shame, he had a really unique riding style, and was always great to watch.
