People that sell pine bodies?

Anybody know someone that can make me a pine bass body? I have some particulars: P shaped body routed for a P pickup and a J at the bridge, I want the P pickup flipped upside down so the low register pole pieces are closer to the bridge, and I'd like there to be room in the control cavity to stuff in a preamp. Is there anyone that can do this without charging an arm and a leg? I know once I go outside the standard offerings, prices rise a good deal

Thanks

Search for pine bodies or pine bass body in the search box up above and you'll likely see a bunch of people who do that sort of thing. Unless one is a vendor they can't advertise themselves without violating the rules. Pine bodies were a hot commodity here a few years ago.

I did give a preliminary search. There are bunches of threads, and unfortunately they mostly seem to deal with regular pine tele bodies. I was hoping someone had some experience with one-offs.

Of course, my search did reveal a few builders on here, who I'll message now

you might want to check out a place called Red Dirt Guitar Works. Now ,I have never bought from them,so I can't say if they would fill your needs .Next Time I do another build I think I'll might look into them .Prices seem good, and I'm a lefty and they offer lefty bodies. If you don't check them, out ,I might.

This is a pine body that I got from Red Dirt. Call them up and talk to Ben. He's hard to reach so be patient, it may take a few tries to get through.
