Wow, I was just watching a documentary about Heavy Metal yesterday where he was interviewed. I'm sure I'd never heard him speak before. Interesting stuff about the interplay between the Hammond organ and electric guitar.

Sorry to hear. I loved that early Deep Purple stuff. I got to see them one time at a big rock festival at the fairgrounds in the county where I grew up. They played with Procol Harum. It was a good day for B-3's.

I bought a Hammond because of him. I wish I could play it 1/100th as good as he did.
