Don't you hate it when your pedals get dusty between the knobs? Annoys the crap out of me!
artdecade July 16th, 2012, 06:17 PM This is kinda like the "display your pedal board" thread ... minus the cables.

Pretty pathetic huh. Even when I was playing out I rarely felt I needed a certain pedal to keep the patrons of the Moose or Vets club happy. As long as I had a two channel amp to switch from clean to dirt I could cover the bases of rootsy rock and country that we played. Used a buddies Memory Man for slapback and a Small Stone PS for some of The country sometimes but I never bought any fuzz, distortion type pedals. Wish I had.
Now for everyday noodling and practice I mainly use the Dan-echo, TOD and had been using that black one which is a home brew Rangemaster I built but I'm tired of it. The chorus and tremolo are fun for making a bigger sound when entertaining the neighbors from the patio with some bluesy groove. Also been using the DOD compressor lately. Put it and my Boss CS1 on CL last winter and after playing them for the first time in years decided I really liked the DOD better and kept it.
Yes I jones for various pedals but try to resist the urge unless it's stupid cheap.
JBOWLES July 16th, 2012, 10:13 PM Just got a couple more today
StoogeSurfer July 16th, 2012, 10:36 PM Tjalla when the signal finally gets from your guitar to your amp, do you hear nothing but white noise? lol

Hey Kool-Aid:mrgreen:
gtrguru July 17th, 2012, 12:05 AM I like this thread! I've found that I'm way too cheap to have a large pedal collection. I usually sell what I have to buy what I want.
Telegazer July 17th, 2012, 02:43 AM I've slimmed down a lot over the years, though I think I would be better off losing at least another dozen or so.

Hehe, many thanks....It's actually a necessity to keep pedals way out of the way when not being used. My studio is an absolutely wonderful place to work in, but it's so tiny that I don't bother using a pedalboard in here anymore, instead vouching for the "3M Dual Lock on acoustic wall siding" trick.
Excuse my funky grammar, I only speak English it on the weekends these days and sound like a dork most of the time.

Big_Bend July 17th, 2012, 08:04 AM I bought all these off CL about 2 years ago as part of a bulk deal. Resold most of them.

Big_Bend July 18th, 2012, 04:39 PM How much was that?
This was about 80 pedals, part of a big bulk deal I purchased from a guy that also included about 70 guitars, 40 amps, and tons of other crap. Took me over two years to sell it all on ebay.
