Hello everybody,
My name is Alberto Steri and I post from Pavia, Italy...
I'm a pro musician and teacher.
I have a Blues & rock solid background but in the last two years I start listening to country music and trying my best to improve in this style.
I love Brad Paisley, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, Keith Urban because of their skills as song composers and not just for their guitar abilities.
Other guitar players I love for this style are Albert Lee, Redd Volkaert, Brant Mason, Matt Rae.
I'm the proud owner of a tele vintage reissue 52 butterscotch blonde (with a couple of seymour duncan antiquity on board) and a G&L asat classic tribute made in japan (pu are the original couple taken from the 52 reissue)
I'm very glad to have found a place where people from every part of the world talks about telecaster...here in Italy there are few telecaster players and almost nobody is interested in country music or similar style...I'm a black sheep but thank of this forum I'm not alone.
I've been recently recruited by a Rockabilly/Country italian band and I have the chance to improve my playing with a good number of shows around Europe.
I'm very sorry about my low English.
