I just finished my latest project which is a reverb pedal based on the GGG reverb. I was going to order either the GGG or BYOC kit but both are out of stock (one out of stock and one being redesigned) so I just grabbed the schematic off the GGG site and built from that.
I did use the new model of the Belkin brick which is surprisingly tiny and light With all six connections coming out of the brick at the same place I had to find an easy way to wire up the brick. I ended up using a section of strip board that was six traces wide by three holes long. The brick lines up perfectly with the holes in the board and it made soldering soooooo easy. I should have taken a picture before I soldered up everything. The brick is held in place by some peel and stick velcro. I used a TL074 instead of a pair of TL072s because I thought that would be easier.
The pedal sounds great. I can go from just a touch of reverb at about 8:00 to huge amounts of reverb at 3:00 and beyond. With only one knob its very easy to use. It sounds great with everything on my board. Though I realize now that I have not tried it with my Crybaby. I should have built this right after building an amp with no reverb. Oh well.
The top definitely needs some graphics or at least the word "Reverb" but it's the only purple pedal on my board so I'm not in any hurry. I'd like to swap out the knob with a cream colored chicken head knob. I bought a cream pointer knob that I had planned to use but it's way too small.
