Well, I'm planning to go where the front bumper of my car will take me, which includes a visit to The Hague, the Aviodrome air park at Lelystad and the Aquazoo in Harderwijk, just a week of cruising and being away from everything and everybody.
So, to keep myself on my toes and as a way to sit in at jam sessions, I've been scouting the web for a dirt cheap but still cool guitar to take along. And I pulled the trigger on THIS.

Which is a late eighties Vester Stage series guitar, which as one will tell from the picture basically was aping the style of Charvel and the likes. It isn't anything that special, built from plywood and using cheap components but it is a way for me to leave my more expensive guitars at home.
I played my first live show using a Vester and I know that they have good necks. And for 55 Euro it's hardly making a dent in my budget, I'll tell you guys all about it when I get it home.
