I remember seeing this the night they broadcast it the first time...

James, JD

Danny dugmore, Rick Marotta, Lee, Waddy Wachtel, Grolnick

I must have one or more of those guys in a few hundred shows... always money, always sounding good...

the song, of course, was about James' and Carly Simon's split... one of the saddest songs I know, full of remorse and regret and realization...

there was always someone to see around LA back then who could blow your mind....
