Lollar P-90 vs Kinman P-90 Hx noiseless (video comparision)

Just thought I would throw together another video comparison but this time of two different P-90 pickups. This is by no means a strict benchmark comparison. These are two totally different concepts in the design of a P-90. I've always felt that noiseless pickups were missing something (besides noise:razz:), maybe it's in the pickups dynamics. It's one of those things I cant put your finger on. But I think the P-90Hx were really well done so I thought I would do a comparison against a non-noiseless p90. Honestly the Lollar doesn't seem noisy to me at all. Although I do have a dimmer on a light switch in my basement and when that is engaged I do get noise through both pickups (not as bad in the P-90Hx). I have really only started using P-90s the last couple of years but now I realize what I've been missing out on.
I love both these pickups.

Yeah they both are really nice. This was just a clean setting. They both sounds really great with a little overdrive as well. Delicious. :smile:
