Hey everyone,
I'm new here - never joined a forum until today. I play a Squier Telecaster and I'm currently stripping down and refinishing an Affinity Telecaster. A friend owed me £40 for a record player and we agreed on his rusty, neglected, filthy, grimy mess of a guitar instead. It was in a bad enough state for me to feel OK about starting the job!
Never been into DIY really but I've started now. Been scratching off the black paint with a scraper and the wife's hair dryer...
I have some primer that my dad had used on his car and a great orange auto spray paint. Will probably need to ask some techie questions at some point.
Been reading threads for a while, it's nice to finally have become a member and to join in.
