Twinkie

For a couple of years now I have been keeping my eye out for an old MXR Limiter. I have wondered how well these units works and sounds since I started snatching Dyna Comps 19 years ago.
The vintage MXR Limiter is a hard item to find and usually going for a hefty some of cash.
At last I found one on Guitar Center's website for $75 bucks in Arizona back around the 4th of July and ordered it shipped 2 day air. Low and behold, for some reason UPS could not verify my work address even though they have delivered to the same location before. They had the correct address, but they did not make deliver. Instead they sent me a postcard regarding confirmation of the address.
So why did UPS send a postcard and not refer to an internal database?
I really wonder if UPS drivers are disinclined to deliver anything above the ground floor? I have had previous experienced with this before.
UPS sucks!
