4 way on Squier fat standard [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

Fitted a four way mod to my SH "fat" standard Squier yesterday. Could only find wiring diagram for SS, so I followed that. I soldered the extra ground to the humbucker body, as per ss diagram.
This allowed the humbucker to bleed into all of the positions.
I disconnected the ground, and everything worked fine. I gigged it last night, and position 4 sounded amazing.
No extra noise, and all positions sounding as they should!
