Hi Everybody,
I new to the forum. Just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. My name is Gene. I'm 47 and have been playing since I was a kid. I enjoy a wide range of music. Here's a little sample of a Tele I just bought. For some reason it cuts out after the first minute or so. But there's enough there to give a sample of the tone. I'd really like to get the sound better and I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions. Thanks!
Gene

Thanks everyone. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve the guitar tone? It may just be a case of needing a better amp. I know a lot of folks love Twin Reverbs but they have always sounded harsh to my ears. I tried recording the guitar part using a Line 6 POD 2.0 and it was "okay." But I just wish I could get it sounding a little bigger.

Thanks in advance!

Gene

Responses seem to indicate that the guitar tone is pretty good. But for some reason it's just not quite what I was looking for. There is a certain Tele sound that sounds real.."springy" for lack of a better word.

Maybe I'll go back to the the POD and hunt for sounds in there more.

I'd be interested to hear what amp/rigs others are using with Teles.
