Fulltone OCD...?

I've got a stock 2011 MIM Tele playing into a modified Fender Blues deluxe. I have a Barber DD\SS for a Marshally type sound, but want something more transparent and touch sensative. I was thinking OCD. Anyone else use the ocd with a similar rig with good results? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I play the OCD through a Blues Deluxe and I love the sound!

Everyone needs an OCD and a Tubescreamer.

This should be stickied in all guitar stomp box forum.

What's the other boutique variant of the OCD aside from those cheapo China-made clones?

Is the OCD similar to the Danelectro CC Transparent OD V2?

OCD: Never leave home without it. I know it gets hyped a lot, but in this case, the hype, in my book, is justified. Love it.

Some Dano BS from me (but I have spent time/years with these pedals) :

The OCD is closer to the Danelectro Cool Cat CO-1 Drive( not the transparent) V.1 (which is a composite of several OCD versions, preset in 'HP mode')

I have owned this pedal before- Pretty nice tone control and crunch, but a bit bright and a little short in actual sustain- seemed better for hard rock rhythm guitar as opposed to a smoother sustaining lead. Very good guitar cleanup though- Better dynamics IMO, than the lower-Gain Dano TOD V.1 which I own but still prefer as even though it may not be quite as dynamic, it has a great OD tone, plus tonal control. It is a Transparent Overdrive- plus very easy to target just how much breakup you want at any amp volume. The distortion you dial up with the the pedal ON does not diminish if you turn guitar volume down, BUT you don't lose any Treble either- good news!

Not a fan of the TOD V.2 having owned both the V.1 and V.2, no contest- the V.2 was returned in a day. A dissapointment at double the price (*then!, when MF carried both!) of the V.1!

I have the OCD on my board. Great pedal. It runs from a nice push to a nasty, bitting growl all while keeping your Tele sounding like a Tele. It has a lot of range. You will not be disappointed.
