Jazz? A Rat. Adjust gain to taste. See John Scofield, Rat user!
Western Swing? A Rat and a cowboy hat. Adjust both to taste.

From the looks of it, that kid is about to be breakfast. Now, why would someone dump a perfectly good kid's arms into a vat of glue? There are easier ways to feed kids to rats.

Also...to clarify... the plot of that video, as I understand it was:
1. Milton Berle arranged to have RATT play upstairs of his dinner party, ostensibly so he could pretend to be annoyed and use the excuse of needing to leave in order to seduce a man dressed up as Angelica Huston.
2. After he leaves, guests continue to try to have dinner. A strange looking chick, trying to silently offer felatio to a valet or servant of some kind, unsuccessfully, which is strange. Then a guitar player falls through the ceiling, but due to an amazing wireless setup, he keeps soloing. His friend upstairs continues soloing, as well, magically transforming his regular Kramer 80's Floyd Rose shredder guitar, occasionally into some sort of wee 80's shredder guitar--and then back.
3. The weird chick leaves, stripping in the dark, until she becomes--a crappy modern dance version of....a...rat?
4. Weirdness continues to fade out.

Also there are no walls upstairs, only a weird, lightly distressed dropcloth, which all 80's buttrock bands had in their lockout, which in this case was on the UWS of Manhattan, above some old steel tycoon's 1st floor condo.

Okay, that makes total sense.

I love Ratt (Out Of The Cellar was a killer hard rock album and Round and Round is one of my fav 80s tunes) and I like the RAT. Just got on the RAT bandwagon last week as I needed a fuzzy distortion to reproduce some tones from some records. Really prefer it with 'Buckers though it does sound good with Strat or Tele.

Here's my RAT with his friends...

Is it the new '85 "Whiteface" Reissue? If so, that's a good price for a new one. Made in the USA. Plus it comes with the proper chip and the robust casing that makes sure it can survive a nuke. There shouldn't be an LED on it though.

I've been playing guitar for 31 years. only 3 months ago I bought a RAT2 brand new for $59, a LM308 chip $7. I've put the two things together and I have the best tone you have ever heard. if you disagree with this statement you are welcome to come over to my house, upon which you will be plied with alchohol and be subjected to countless AC/DC, Aerosmith, Sabbath, Kyuss, Maiden, Morbid Angel riffs. you'll also hear a fair smattering of my stuff.

this pedal is the king of kings and it makes people say stupid things like the above.

eBay

as for installing - just open up the pedal with a screwdriver, locate the OP07DP chip. pry it off with your screwdriver, then gently but firmly replace it with the LM308 chip. the little pins are easily bent, so go slowly. I always play it safe and buy 2 of every chip just in case I ruin one (I am beyond clumsy). but trust me: If I can do it, anyone can.

Nice brother!

that's the beauty of the RAT. you can go from really light OD, bridge pickup and play along with early U2 for that Vox breaking up sound.... to hard crunch - 90's Radiohead..... then to front pickup, full on fuzz for a bit of Kyuss. there isn't a more versatile pedal to be had for under $100.
