Help with T1M pedals RC Series

I just got the T1M RC series expression pedal. On the T1M website it said that this should work with the Boss RC3 that I use. But when I use it I cant switch presets. All I can do is tap tempo. What am I doing wrong? Its plugged into the jack that says "memory select/stop"

Are you using a standard cable or a TRS??
