One of my students turned me on to this today. Very powerful stuff. Inspired by the true story of Elizabeth Toon (http://elizabethtooncharities.org/about-us/our-story/). Reminds me a little of both Lyle Lovett and James Taylor. Sweet pedal steel too. Just wanted to share.

This tune brought me to the verge of tears. Listen to that steel guitar...
I can't believe 17 other people heard it and have nothing to say.
Here's the HD version:

Definitely a JT vibe to my ears Jay...the storytelling and the voice. Seems Ms. Toon was on a fast track. Great that her parents found a way to honor her memory. And it's cool that Radney Foster was involved with fundraising-his song Angel Flight hits me the same way this song hits you.
