Hello great and knowledgeable Tele Masters,

I am installing a Tusq nut (number 5000) on my MIM Squier Tele. Will I have a lot of fine tuning to do? If so what sort and what tools will I need? Files, sandpaper?
Also would .012's fit ok or should I stick with .011's? Which would require less fine tuning of the nut? I'm not a bender.

I'm also installing a Wilkinson compensated saddle bridge. I will replace the pickups after I decide which ones to buy. For now I removed the neck pickup cover.

that should work fine, you 'might' have to sand the bottom a bit. Then again it may be your idea of perfect, Tusq is really easy to work and a set of welders tip files would get you through any deepening of the slots I'd wager, and be a great learning experience as well.
