buffing....

when using a palm buffer & some wool bonnots after wet sanding what the average time one should take to buff out with compound then polisher??? does it sometimes take a very long time to get a mirror shine??

As long as the clear as completely dried, and you work your way down to 800-1000 grit paper, the polishing will go rather quick.

The mirror like shine comes from the prep, not just the polish.
