Anyone have one or heard samples??
I'm not big on fuzz, but it's kinda cool!

The only thing about fuzz with 2 knobs is dialing the best tone. The absence of a tone knob can sometimes make it a bit difficult. I use a 2 knobby Hendrix type fuzz and I think another pedal like an eq of some sort is needed to cut through. Hard to tell a fuzz sound too through other people's amps. I've never tried this one so it's impossible to really judge completely. I prefer fuzz on the neck pickup or on the bridge with the tone down. But mine is an obnoxious nk275. Is this an NK275 type? They can get nasty and fuzz is not fuzz unless it feels like you just walked into a big spider web! lol Fuzz is suppose to be obnoxious. Although I tend to want to stay on the d&g and riff around. To me it sounds best there.

That's a nice fuzz-box, but most of the ones FBG demos are pretty nice... Thsi one seems well usable for most folks, too, everything from just-past-distortion to full on scrambled eggs, I like it very much.

Additionally, I usually prefer the 2-knob fuzzes, get your volume where you like it, then sweep the texture/fuzz/intensity/whatever-the-builder-calls-it knob a millimeter at a time until you find your spot (I like to use an ironing board for this application  ).

I just got one a couple weeks ago, and I absolutely love it. I have mine set for a slight volume boost, and the fuzz set around 11:00. The pedal cleans up remarkably well with my guitar's volume. I tend to play indie/alternative rock for the most part, and my gigging board usually has a fuzz, an overdrive, a distortion, and a boost, but since I got the Olympia I've stopped using the distortion and overdrive, and just rely on the fuzz, a boost, and my volume knob to cover all the stages of gain that I need. The only other fuzz I've used extensively is a ZVex Fuzz Factory, and while that's fun for experimentation, especially in the studio, the Olympia has been a lot more useful in live settings.

I saw who did the demo and immediately turned it off. I thought, I'll give it a chance and loaded it again... then turned it off as soon as I saw that she includes a framed promo picture of herself prior to even starting.

I own one. It sounds really good. It's like a big muff and a fuzz face in one. It's the middle ground, so to say.

Check out the burgerman demo. It's very accurate and he uses a tele.

Ha, what's wrong with that? I'd take that over GMD's obnoxious noodling/banter any day of the week.

Diff'rent folks, diff'rent druthers...apparently, a LOT of people HATE Ms. FBG. Me, I think she does a decent job, heck, I like MOST of the regular youtube gear reviewers...but, I'm one o' them people who likes people...

I'm not a fan of her "gimmick" or "schtick" or whatever you chose to call it. It just screams shameless "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME" Self Promotion.

EDIT

I like a lot of the gear reviewers. However her, and lately GMD is starting to irritate me. Seems most of his demos are just Blues licks. I know Andy at PGS is trying to sell a product but at least he plays a mix of styles in his demos; Burgs is fantastic as well. Plus I have a few other smaller, less well known people's subscribed as well.

I feel like I'm one of the few people what really want to see what the pedal can do.

Burgerman's actually right around the top of my list. He usually puts his demo boxes through pretty good paces without a lot of filler...

Andy Fromproguitarshopdotcom & Burgs are the top of the food chain for pedal demos. Guitar demos would be Wildwood (Greg Koch), Nevada Music, and maybe gregsguitars. Amp demos aren't very good anywhere frankly.
