My first NGD thread on this guitar was pretty much hijacked so I am starting a new one with pictures. These are the before pics. Black guitars are beautiful but they are hard to photograph so, I hope these accurately reflect how nice this guitar is. The neck pickup is a Fralin P92 and has a beautiful tone. This guitar is very versatile and would sound and look great in any genre I might be playing; from Jazz to Country.

I have since removed the pickguard and added a black Bigsby B70. The after pictures will be added soon.

Yes, I agree. It looks even better and it improved the sound and sustain of an already great sounding guitar. I just wish I knew what to do with the holes remaining from the tailpiece. I am just goofy enough to want to do something other than just leave them.

I love Cort guitars. At least my acoustic and classical.
This... is exactly the guitar that I need now.

Finally! The pictures with the bigsby installed and the pickguard removed. This is fast becoming my main non tele guitar!
Disclaimer: I thought I was a pretty good photographer before I tried taking good pictures of a shiny black guitar. This guitar is much much prettier in person!
Also. I am still trying to figure out what to do with the tailpiece studs that are no longer being used. Any suggestions?

P.S. I straighted the strings out at the tailpiece after I took the pics.

Just a suggestion here about the tailpiece studs. Any 335 style guitar that I ever Bigsbyfied I did one of two things. I went down to my local Tandy Leather and got some 1/4 star conchoes and superglued them over the holes....or...i would get some western shirt snap buttons at the same place and glue those over the holes. Not of one of my 335's, but here is a pic (i hope) of how I covered the holes up from changing a standard tele bridge to a vintage style that I added a Bigsby to. I used a trio of the smallest star conchoes. I like the look; may not be what you like, tho.

Problem solved! After reading your post, I realized that I had some black tuxedo shirt studs that I had never used. I got two and, carefully using a hammer, tapped them right in. No need for glue as they are a snug fit and now I have a totally reversible (if I ever need it) solution. More pictures to come.
