EHX Mole with Organizer?

Has any one used the Mole extensively with bright amps, etc?

I like the Organizer but I think the bright treble nature of what I have heard would be tiring after awhile. I remember reading about the Mole and wonder if that would be a solution just to vary the tone from time to time.

Any thoughts?

I have a Mole and a vox AC15 - I picked up the Mole for bass but have played around a bit on guitar and my very superficial thoughts are that it can be used on the lower settings to beef things up a little, but really I just find that it kinda muds things up and can make a mess of things if your really push it hard. Paired with an OD it can sometimes give you a fat 70s style lead, but I'm not sure it has the flexibility you'd want to really change the character of your amp.

Probably better to look for something with more flexible controls...my wife has a Bass Muff that I've played around with on guitar and I'd actually be more inclined to look for something like that.

that's a good idea. . .i can borrow a bass muff and see what it does stacked with the organizer. . .I'm lucky to be able to borrow stuff from everybody, but they don't have everything. .
