Good color combo for a 70s strat?

I just picked up a 70s Reissue strat, White with a maple fretboard. Awesome strat, just what I've been after! It's an 04 so the white has gotten a little yellowy, not yngwie-level yellow but a little bit o' cream.

Right now it's stock with a slightly offwhite pickguard and white pickups/knobs ala Jimi/Curtis/Uli/Robin etc, but I also have black pickups/knobs, a black/w/b pickguard, and a mint pickguard.

I'm thinking of mint with black pickups? Maybe stock is the best look? What say you?

not bad, some of those might look funky (or not funky enough) with the 70s styling.

here are some other possibilities

black on black w/ maple neck or aged oly white (banana pudding color) is my vote.

All black plastic would give it a late '70s look. So would a black pickguard with white knobs, pickguard and tremolo tip. I once even saw a mid-'70s Strat with all-black plastic except for white knobs, but that combination looked horrible in my opinion.
