So we have all seen these great metal guitars and I have become addicted to the idea of building one. Ive been all over the internet trying to find sheet metal for these builds but am at a complete loss. Does anyone know where to get cheap aluminum/copper/bronze for a build like this?

Are you skilled at welding aluminum? Since you're asking where to buy it, I would think you're not.

I was going to ask this question as well.

Back in the day when I was building metalbody resonators and needed a purveyor of metals in sheet form I opened an ancient device long used among seekers-of-things-and-services called the Yellow Pages™. In it was contained the physical whereabouts and a 7-digit number used to contact places that sold these metals.
In those days they were tossed (free of charge!) into your driveway once a year, but I'm pretty sure since the invention of the interwebs these tomes of information aren't used anymore....so I'd say you're out of luck.

They still toss them a couple times a year, then I just toss them.
