Has anyone attempted this yet. I'm really enjoying experimenting with the circuit but the pcb doesn't seem to like it S much as I do. I've lifted 2 traces already . Unfortunately I haven't learned enough to do the conversion on my own.
I'd like to be able to keep the stock transformers and attenuator and replace everything else.

From the Vox website, compare it to yours. The original AC15s & the
modern AC15 are nothing alike. You make be able to do a traditional AC4 but with a SS rectifier depending on the PT.

That'll be cool. I know the schematic is out. It'll be a good project to draw up a layout. If you get stumped, I can email you the original ac4 layout I made, but you'll need a different PT, rectifier and an ef86.
I'm holding out for the new ac4 handwired schematic to emerge on the net. That will be cool cause it's the top boost channel, which rules. Kind of weird that it has a master volume also, but that could be cool too.
