After owning a footswitch for several years, it only occurred to me now... how the hell does it work?
Let me explain... I have a Vox AC15C1. It comes with a footswitch for reverb and tremolo (a footswitch is a pedal, so I am at the right place, right?). The FS does not operate with batteries, but it is connected to the amp with a regular cable and a 1/4" jack. Doesn't that suggest electricity? Obviously, there is nothing mechanical in the connection... what is it? Hydrolic? :-D
