DIY Truss Rod

Hey does anybody know how to make a truss rod?

I was think 6mm threaded rod with a anchor welded at one end and a bolt at the other.

Is there any point and making a curved truss rod or is it easier to keep it straight?

Any ideas would be awesome

You have inserted the trus rod but I don't know from which end. You do not show the making of the adjustment nut. It needs a bit of clarification.

You have inserted the trus rod but I don't know from which end. You do not show the making of the adjustment nut. It needs a bit of clarification.

You insert the anchor end of the rod on the opposite end as the nut. The nut was purchased.

Anyone know of a tutorial for making/installing a single rod/double action rod like PRS does? I would like to try my hand at one for an upcoming prototype build.
