I am posting this for several reasons:
1. Mr. Skaggs is playing an L5-s, which I think is the coolest looking guitar outside of a Tele.
2. Cynthia Calhoun is singing backup (normally she's with Steely Dan.)
3. I wonder if anyone knows who the guy is that takes the guitar solo -- he's interesting.

Saw Boz recently, along with Michael McDonald and Donald Fagen, on the Dukes of September.
Don't remember the names of the two backup singers but one of them actually sang lead on a couple of numbers.
Not a bad show...each artist did a couple of songs from their catalog then the next one do his songs. They did songs that influenced them, too. However, they only played for ~2.5 hours.
BTW, the bass player on this tour was Ready Freddie Washington...played more in the pocket than the player in the video.

I found quite a few "Dukes of September" videos on YouTube. Sadly, Donald Fagen's voice is a thing of the past. He ought to retire gracefully before it gets downright embarrassing.

Pretty sure it is Drew Zingg as his guitarist. He is also on a 2004 live dvd that I have.

Thanks, dudes. This is leading me to further discoveries. Here's a a vid from Donald Fagen's review in the early 90s, when Fagen could still sing, and Drew Zingg is the guitarist:

But here's something else with Zingg, I guess it's called "ZINGweed," and this guy John Wedemeyer is outstanding:
