I'be been searching for the right pickups for what seems like a long time now for my Highway 1. First, it was Keystones. Then OV's. Then 62' RI's. Then it was an Esquire bridge pup. Seems like I was doing pup swaps every time I changed strings.
I finally bit the bullet and got some Lollars - Special T bridge and Vintage neck. Stick a fork in, I'm done. These things are fantastic!

I have the same setup in one of my CV 50s. Very unique tone. Still sounds like a tele but has alot of clarity and chime. Great for Travis pickin rockabilly type stuff

That's the same set up I use in both my teles. It's perfect. Amazing tone, and so versatile
