Possible Craigslist Purchase -- Need input

I've found a 2002 MIM Stratocaster. The only thing that is wrong with it supposedly is that there are a few cosmetic dings and something is wrong with it electronically. The seller is pretty sure the input jack needs to be resoldered. He agreed he would accept $100 on my approval.

Does this sound like a good deal? I've been looking for a project guitar and I think this would fit the bill perfectly.

I have a 2006 MIM Telecaster, would the Strat have the same medium jumbo frets and alder body?

Great buy for $100. I think the 2006s were upgraded a bit, but that's a great price for a bit of a project and a you can easily replace a few bits to make a nice player, even the neck if you want to.
