It's always a pleasure to hear something unexpected like this. You get accustomed to hearing him play distorted slide guitar with 2 strings (!) that it takes you aback to hear him sing a quiet acoustic song like this.

It reminded me of a YouTube clip I came across a few years ago of the Scots rocker, Frankie Miller, singing the old Jim Reeves song 'He'll Have To Go'. It was a similar 'step back in amazement' moment hearing that song done by someone who I was more accustomed to hearing belting out blues rock at the top of his voice!
