Harmonic Design Super 90 in bridge

I've ordered a Harmonic Design Super 90 for the bridge position of my Tele & I'm after some advice.

I have an amazing Mick Brierley P90 in the neck which is an unbelievable sound, but the standard single coil bridge has always been a slightly awkward match. I'm going to try the Super 90 in the bridge to see if I can get more attitude & grunt out of the guitar.

Does anyone have any experience with this set-up & any suggestions on how to get the most out of it?

I was planning on using the following...

500k volume pot
250k tone pot
0.05uf tone cap
4-way switch (neck, neck/bridge parallel, neck/bridge series, bridge)

Anyone got any advice or comments?

I thought I'd follow up on this after successfully installing the new Super 90 pickup today.

I ended up going with 500k pots for volume & tone, a .022uF tone cap, and a 4-way switch. It's GREAT!

I was surprised by how much the Super 90 stays within the same "tone family" as a standard Tele bridge pickup. Of course they're different, but it's remarkable how much it just sounds like a massive beefed-up version of a Tele bridge.

It's perfect for my needs with this particular guitar. Matches the P90 very well in terms of output & general tone. LOVE IT.

Can't really offer any advice (I don't know what pots I have!) but my Tele also has that p/up in the bridge and I'd agree with what you say: it's a tougher Tele sound, really, with a bit of P-90 grunt, and goes well with a neck P-90.
i like it a lot!

for interest's sake, I've added a pic of my Tele (albeit an an old one: it doesn't have that stacked tone control any more; I simplified that). It's an engraved metal front, in case you're wondering.

Cheers.

Super90 is a great pickup. I have two partscasters and they both have S90s. One has a humbucker neck rout in which I put an HD Z90, the other a standard tele rout, and it has an HD Superchrome. All 500K wired per HD recommendation. HDs bridge pickups are all RWRP to their bridge pickups too.

I also put a strat version of the S90 in my strat, left the other two pickups and the wiring stock, so 250K. Except I switched the middle pickup tone control to the bridge. Much as I love the tele S90, I like the strat version even more.

What is a tone cap? Where does it go?
