Fender Power Jazz Special MIJ

I have an opportunity to purchase said bass for $350. The catch is that its 200 miles round trip to pick it up. It looks real clean in the pix and by comparing to ebay listings, it seems like its a steal $$$ wise.

I have a MIJ Strat that i love but I have no experiences with MIJ jazz basses so curious if its worth spending a half day & spending a boat load in gas to check this bass out?

Absolutely. I'd go for it even twice the distance. MiJ Jazz Bass is pure gold in my book. Unless it's damaged somehow, it's definitely worth the trip.

Unless it's thrashed, should be a very good instrument

Its now mine... it sounds amazing! Its got a few dings here and there but its in better shape then me and im roughly the same vintage :). I would do the incredibly boring drive again in a second.
