A great line!

Great that Fender makes a Reissue - but sad, that Fender ignores its own history. The new Antigua Precision is okay (besides the pickguard) - but for the Jazz Bass Reissue, a 70s Jazz Bass with rosewood and block inlays would have been "more historic". Maple neck and dot inlays on an Antigua Jazz Bass are too ... newish ... :roll:

I wrote a "history" about the Fender Telecaster colours from 1950 to 1983 (and beyond) and a history about the Mustang Bass (both only availyble in German).
Therefore I made some investigations about the Antigua models and their exact specifications.
