I am going to put a switch in an amp to switch the coupling cap between V1 and the tone stack. I would like to use a mini switch, but am worried about specs on these not allowing for enough voltage/current. I've got 142 VDC on pin 1 and 6 of the V1 witch in this case is a 12ax7.

I assume you want to bypass the tone stack? use a SPDT switch and put it AFTER the coupling cap. That way the switch should never see more than a couple volts max. One of the purposes of the coupling cap is to block Hi voltage DC.

sorry I wasn't clear. I'm gonna put in a switch to choose between two different coupling caps.
