Jonny Lang's pedalboard

Was able to get a pretty good shot of Jonny's pedal board last night after his set near Detroit.

He has a Dynamic Wah on there, noticed at a couple points it sounded like a wah but he was nowhere near his pedalboard so thought maybe he just cocked it or had a TS with the mids really going, but turned out to be the dynamic.

Also got a couple shots of Buddy's setup, just a TS I believe and his sig wah. One of the pics is of his playing it (tried to get one of Jonny but was at a bad angle).

Also ended up getting one of Jonny's picks. While I was up looking at his board I saw one sitting next to it that he had dropped and asked one of the roadies when he came up there if I could have it and he was nice enough to hand it to me. I could've reached it myself but felt weird reaching up there and grabbing something. Also noticed he rarely actually uses his pick. He was playing mostly with his fingers and was holding the pick up in his palm and brought it down just for some solos. He also broke several strings-he seemed really into the show last night, I was kinda disappointed with him last year but he made up for it this year. And Buddy was great too as always. I posted a link to all my pics in the Tele Discussion forum.

Man I forgot he was playing last night. I really wanted to go to that show.

You missed a good one, both of them tore it up, and Jonny came out and the end and played a few songs with Buddy (he doesn't every night, last year we saw them on the lawn and saw Jonny's bus pulling away during Buddy's first song)

Just saw them both last night in Columbus. The song "feels like rain took on special meaning after the downpour!

Also meant to say before I accidentally hit send.... His wah almost seemed like an auto wah thing as I did not see him rocking his with his foot when I heard it.

His deluxe reverb amp set-up was kinda interesting. Not sure if he was switching between them, but it looked like they were wired together and mic'd differently.

I noticed it while he was playing too, sometimes he used the actual wah but others he was using the Dynamic Wah.

I couldn't tell if both amps were running like in stereo or if one was just a backup. When he was playing with Buddy they only had one out there next to Buddy and Quinn's BluesBoxes.

4 pedals and a tuner, zip ties, board that looks like they found it on the roadside, and power supplies just kind of sitting there. Awesome!
