I'm trying to cobble a wiring scheme together from looking at a bunch of diagrams that aren't quite what I want; did I get it right? I have 2 Jazzmaster PUs, a 3-way toggle switch, 1 volume and 1 tone.
Black wires are ground, which runs ultimately to the sleeve of the jack. Green is my tone cap.

Looks good to me to.
I like to check that things work before I solder it.

I agree, it looks good. I did one like it recently. I have the books by Les Schatten and Donald Brosnac which are useful(ish) but often don't have exactly what I'm after. I do the same as you, cobble together the common connections from various diagrams. Seymour Duncan have some excellent diagrams, so do Guitar Electronics.com
I hope it goes well for you and all your efforts will be worthwhile.

Thanks, that's exactly where I got the diagrams from--there and DiMarzio.

Looks pretty good. If you want to run a " no load" pot on your tone, you might want to wire it like this one. With the cap on the wiper, it let's it drop out completely on a "no load" pot

Thanks Dave! I got 'er wired up, and I think I did it right the first time! I'll try to file my report about it tomorrow in my build thread (it's almost 2am here...).
