New fuzz-build, germanium

Here is my latest fuzz, based on fuzz face, 100k vol pot, dual input caps, switchable dark/bright. 106 hfe on q1, 132 on q2. Quite a beast, true bypass, powered by battery and externally. Custom painted with a bunch of layers of paint and coating.

I think it turned out pretty nice.

Looks great. What did you use for the graphics?

Thanks! It's hand painted with a thick layer of water based polyurethan over it. I built it for a guy in a Swedish band, a friend of mine is a painter so he did the paint job. The paint he used was also water based, it was a bit of gambling to see if it would be messed up by the poly but it worked. I have a few more coming up, I will post them too with a close uo if you want to see them.
