I think we now know who Cyndi Lauper's father is.

First time I have ever seen Keith playing an acoustic live.

Great vid. Thanks .

"Me and Billy (bassist Billy Swan) went out in the crowd to see Hendrix. I mean, he did all that psychedelic ****. It was amazing what he could do with that guitar. But you know he never settled into a groove. I like it when music gets in the groove."

This cracked me up, but then i thought it pretty much defines the Muscle Shoals sound. Great article Jamie, thanks. And i've always associated Breakfast in Bed with Dusty Springfield...nice to know it's a Donnie Fritts song. It's one of her best.

+1 for Donnie Fritts - We had it all is one of my favorite songs. His Prone to Lean lp is excellent - he did a second one that is also good. Plus he was a member of the The Borderlords - (KK's band).

Most Dusty songs are better than the original (if they aren't originals in the first place that is).

Great choice, Scott!
