Hey guys. Im powering my pedals with a voodoo lab power2+, and one of my pedals is an OCD overdrive, which can run on 18v or 9v. I really want to use the 18v feature, but in order to do so, i have to order a $10 y-cable that can plug into two of the jacks on the voodoo lab and into my OCD. could i just use my daisy chain cable that i had been using before i had to voodoo lab to chain off of my tuner to do the same thing the y-cable could do, or would it be bad to have those open cables on the chain hanging off?
does that make sense?

What you need to do, AFAIU, is to use two of the Power2+'s 9V outputs in series to get 18V. But with a daisy chain cable, everything is in parallel, not series. So you need a different cable. (I may be mistaken, but I think I'm not.)

I can sell you a "Y" adaptor from VL for $6 shipped. PM me if interested, I have 2 of them and don't use them, as I make my own cables now.

I use the Voodoo Labs Power 2 + (in addition to an ISO-5) and have (had) a few version OCD's. Rather than tying up two valuable outputs in series for 18V (and having to get or make a series wired cable) just switch the DIP switch on the bottom and run the OCD at 12V. Sounds great, has more headroom/dynamics and you save an output. Just my .02
