I just finished my 4th build and I am stoked! It is a solid mahogany body with a clear nitro finish. TOM bridge, TV Classic Plus bridge pickup, Fender Vintage Noiseless in the neck. It sounds KILLER!! I just finished and was excited to post. I'll get some pics up soon!

What method of wiring did you use? I'm looking to wire my Cab up, but not w/ the S1 configuration. I have the Greasebucket circuit, and want to wire it w/ a Switchcraft toggle switch, just not sure of a proper schematic. Any chance you can post your wiring for our Cab? Thanks!

Trying to figure out how to post pics only on your phone is a hassle. I will have my computer back tomorrow so more to come. This is right before it got strung up, tuned, and rocked. It sounds awesome. Standard style tele wiring with 3 way switch. 500k pots and a .47uf tone cap though that might change. Oh, and I put on a proper Tele switch tip too after this pic was taken.

Lovely! How did you work the TOM bridge? It looks like the neck sits a touch high in the pocket, or did you angle the neck?

Nice work,
Rex

The neck is angled back a couple degrees.

The more I look at it, the more I think it might need a black pickguard. What are your guys thoughts?

keep the pickguard off of it and just use a chrome cover for the TV Classic and a chrome tip for the switch

I like pickguards myself, maybe one of those cab style ones, so that you don't cover too much of that nice wood grain...

That is kinda what I was thinking. Though that pickguard as it is stock might not fit with the switch there...

I'll mock some up tonight with some paper and get some sample pics up later along with some better completed shots.

Well, I am pretty bad at updating when I say I will. Got the pickguard all done. Decided it needed a control plate too to make it more "Tele".

And here is some of the family:

The 3 in the middle are my builds, the pink one is my 2.5 year old daughters, and the Gretsch is because, well, everyone needs a Gretsch!

NICE looking guitar. Congratulations! I would only suggest a popular mod from the tdpri -- black pickguard screws.

They are in the mail! The local hardware store was out.

And the Diet Coke is mine. My daughter prefers Mt.Dew

Not quite a snake head... it is a tilt back Warmoth neck.

I'm really liking your 4 builds. They have classic stylings yet are each unique & personalized, and you wouldn't ever find one like them offered from a factory.

Yeah, I like to keep my builds a little different than what you can normally find off the shelf. It helps me justify the cost since they are unique and custom. Plus, it is kinda cool knowing there isn't another one just like yours floating around somewhere.

Well, I found I liked the short-scale neck on my other "Tele" better so I got one for this build too. Goncalo Alves w/ Pao Ferro board. No finish other than some lemon oil. It is like butter. Also, you can see I switched the screws on the PG to black ones.

Just thought I would update:
