A buddy and myself have approached the folks at Woodcraft in Austin, Texas about hosting quarterly meeting for builders of all levels. They have tentatively agreed. I would like to know if anyone here would be interested in something like that. The Luthiers Interactive of North Texas up in DFW seem to enjoy themselves. Why not us?

That sounds great. I wish someone would do that here (south Louisiana)

I wouldn't yet call myself a luthier, but I have built one Telecaster using the great info on this forum. Actually, it's a Pinecaster. I plan on making my second one at the end of this summer and posting the pics. I live in Cedar Park and would like to attend if it's open to non-professionals.

Im in. Id like to meet professional luthiers to work on my gear, instead of having to use the same few shops that I know of. Have not been happy with the work done on my guitars.

Maybe I miscommunicated....We would like anyone interested in luthiery to come. This is not restricted to professionals. Builders or wannabe builders of all levels of expertise would be welcome.

Glad to see there is some interest. I will work to try to pull this together.
