It's think it's fair to say Tommy Emmanuel loved Chet like a father and was always his hero. I'm glad he got do an album with Chet before he passed away. I thought it's real touching that Chet honoured Tommy like that. I think it is an expression of fatherly love by Chet. Even though I never knew Chet Atkins personally, I miss him and feel the absence of him musically. He was an awesome talent and obviously a gentleman in the truest meaning of the word.

That's one of the most special things about being a musician you can touch people's lives that you have never known. Same with Tommy Emmanuel. He listened to Chet as a kid from across the world, had never met him, idolised him and got to realise his dream and play with his hero.
