Line 6 M5 Expression Pedal - NEED HELP!!

I just received the Mission EP-1 expression pedal for my Line 6 M5...but I can't get it to work properly. When attempting to set the sweep on the cry baby mods, the parameters reverse.

For example: in the heel down position, I achieve the standard cry-baby "heel-down' tone. As I rock the pedal to the "toe-down" position, the effect responds properly to the half way point, then reverses back to the "heel-down" tone as I continue to push the toe-down. This happens with every effect.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help!:oops::oops:

I had/have the same problem with trying to use a Roland expression pedal. After some research, I realized that the M5 requires a specific pot (25k ohm I think) and my pedal was 250k and would not work. Unlike the POD X3L series, the M5 is not adjustable for setting the pedal range/sweep. If someone has found out differently, I would like to know...

I have a Mission EP1-L6, which is made specifically for the
Line 6 modelers. It has a 10k pot, which uses a standard mono patch cable, unlike other models which have different pot values, and may require a TRS cable.

It works flawlessly with my M13. I got fed up trying to find the 25k VP Jr. (which does work well, apparently) in Boston Guitar Centers, so I just broke down and ordered the Mission.

If you want the Mission, check out Prymaxe Vintage; they had it for 105 + a 10% discount when I ordered.

I use the M-Audio EX-P. I'm pretty sure the sweep is adjustable. The M5 looks at *all* the parameters set in the toe down and same for toe up. And that's the range for everything that you change between the two positions.
